Dentons welcomes Preston H Neel to Corporate practice in Birmingham
The world's largest law firm, Dentons has announced that Preston H Neel has joined the corporate practice as a shareholder in the firm's Birmingham, Alabama, office.
Neel's expertise lies in mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and general corporate representation. He has extensive experience in providing financial services litigation and regulatory compliance assistance to banks and non-banks offering mortgage, unsecured small dollar and business purpose loan products and broker-dealers offering securities-based loan products.
On his appointment, Jim Vann, the president at Dentons Sirote remarked, "Neel is a highly skilled and thoughtful lawyer. His experience will greatly benefit our clients. We are delighted to welcome such a talented lawyer to the team."
Neel holds an LLM in taxation from New York University, School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Alabama and Texas and is an inactive Certified Public Accountant in both states.
He has earlier worked as an accountant for Arthur Anderson and KPMG, and as a financial analyst for JP Morgan.
