JSA Advocates And Solicitors Appoint Probir Roy Chowdhury As Co-Chair Of Corporate Practice

He joins Sidharrth Shankar, the current co-chair of the firm

JSA Advocates and Solicitors has appointed Probir Roy Chowdhury as the new Co-Chair of its corporate practice.

He takes over from Vikram Raghani, who has shifted to the Executive Committee, and will focus on expanding the technology offerings.

Commenting on the move, Amar Gupta and Vivek K. Chandy, Joint Managing Partners at JSA Advocates and Solicitors, said, "We wish Chowdhury all the best. He has taken up the responsibility, as Raghani has been elected to the ExComm. We are confident that he will make a meaningful contribution to the continued growth of our strong corporate practice, especially to expand the firm’s technology offering."

Operating from the firm’s Bengaluru office, Chowdhury has been associated with the firm for over two decades. He focuses on technology and allied sectors and is recognized for his expertise in fintech/data protection and private equity/M&A in the IT space.

On his appointment, Chowdhury stated, "I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working with Shankar to achieve our shared goals of expanding and strengthening corporate practice, enhancing the services, and solidifying the trust of our clients."
