Nishant Singh has joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co as a Partner in Mumbai office along with 12 lawyers

Nishant was a Partner with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices and was heading their Private Equity, Banking and Finance & Corporate Practice at the Mumbai office.

Nishant has over two decades of experience and specialises in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Hedge Funds. Before Luthra, he was working with Indus Law. He has worked with leading law firms in both India and the USA.

Nishant is a 2002 graduate of National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore and LL.M. from Carey Law School, University of Pennsylvania. He is dually qualified to practice in India and New York (USA).

For Nishant its a full circle, as he has worked in his early days with Amarchand Mangaldas. On joining SAM, Nishant said “I started my career at the firm, and when I returned from the U.S., it was the natural choice again. Now—here once more, where it all began.
