Inttl Advocare Promotes Mamta Jha As Co-Managing Partner

She has been leading high-stakes IP disputes and has shaped the litigation strategy for the clients

Inttl Advocare has announced the elevation of Mamta Jha as the Co-Managing Partner.

She will share the leadership mantle with Hemant Singh and assume a greater strategic and managerial role in the firm’s evolution.

An alumnus of Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, she has over 25 years of experience, with a focus on intellectual property litigation and enforcement.

As Senior Partner and head of litigation and opposition, she led several high-stakes IP disputes and shaped the litigation strategy for the firm’s marquee clients.

Jha is an expert in trademarks, patents, copyrights, industrial designs, geographical indications, domain name disputes, trade secrets, unfair competition, and regulatory compliance. She advises on emerging issues around artificial intelligence (AI), NFTs, blockchain, data protection and digital ecosystems.

Hemant Singh, Founder and Managing Partner at Inttl Advocare, commented, “As a growing law firm, it is essential for us to think beyond the present and lay down a strong succession plan that ensures the continued growth and institutionalization of the firm beyond me as an individual. It is imperative to identify and nurture leadership early on - someone who not only brings exceptional legal expertise but also deeply aligns with the firm’s long-term vision.”

He added, “Mamta embodies all those qualities. She is immensely talented, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to our ethos. Her alignment with the culture and vision of Inttl Advocare makes her the ideal choice to share the leadership. I am pleased to announce her promotion as Co-Managing Partner to contribute and strengthen the firm’s management and support its expansion.

Singh continued, “This is the right time for such a transition, as we work together to build the firm into an institution where passionate professionals can pursue their dreams and thrive. My role now will evolve more into that of a mentor, guiding Mamta as she takes on a larger leadership role and helping her hone the skills necessary to carry the firm forward.”

Jha shared, “It is a privilege to take on the role of Co-Managing Partner at Inttl Advocare. I have had the opportunity to grow with the firm and witness its evolution into a leading force in IP and technology law. I am deeply grateful for the trust and mentorship of Hemant Sir. While the recognition comes from the acknowledgment of my journey with the firm, I am looking at it as a great opportunity to further build Inttl Advocare into an IP and tech powerhouse.”

She added, “I hope to build the leadership at the firm by onboarding more partners and practice heads who will leverage the platform given by the firm to contribute to the innovation economy in India and globally. With a balance of independence and accountability, Inttl Advocare is the right balance for more leaders to join us and grow our service bouquet. With the wishes of my clients and the support of my colleagues, I look forward to contributing to the next chapter of the firm’s growth.”

Jha further expressed, “To add to this, our existing team leaders are being groomed to take up management roles from the formative years of their leadership journey. We will soon announce the constitution of our Management Committee, which will help us take new initiatives and shoulder management of business support functions. As the leaders grow in alignment with the firm’s values and vision, I am eager to invite young talent to join us. We shall provide them with the resources and mentorship to build their careers and reach their highest potential.”

Inttl Advocare is assisted by the management consulting company Legal League Consulting (founded by Bithika Anand) in its succession planning, leadership mentoring, and constitution of the Management Committee for the governance of business support. The project is being led by CEO Nipun K Bhatiaa.
