Shagoofa Khan Joins AZB & Partners To Lead Funds Practice

Shagoofa Khan has joined AZB & Partners as a Senior Partner in the Mumbai office, where she will lead the firm's Funds Practice.

Shagoofa is a 2002 graduate of the University of Mumbai and holds memberships with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. With nearly 25 years of experience, she has worked across a broad spectrum of fund-related matters, including structuring funds, managed accounts, infrastructure investment trusts, fund documentation, exits, and international taxation and planning.

She has an extensive background, having worked with prominent law firms such as Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Nishith Desai Associates. Additionally, she has held senior in-house positions with companies like Kotak Investment, Tata Services, IDFC Alternatives, and NIIF.
