Baker Botts Relocates Partner Stuart Jordan To Dubai To Strengthen Construction Practice In The Region

Baker Botts has announced the strategic relocation of Partner Stuart Jordan from its London office to Dubai in response to increasing client demands in the Middle East. Recently appointed as the firm’s global head of construction, Jordan's move aims to enhance the firm’s presence and capabilities in this vital region.

Under Jordan’s leadership, the firm continues to benefit from its involvement in the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project in Saudi Arabia, which stands as the world’s largest green hydrogen project to achieve financial close. His relocation is designed to build on the success of his existing practice in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East, providing essential on-ground support for key construction projects, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

In his new role, Jordan will concentrate on expanding the team and ensuring strategic oversight for global and regional collaboration. This move aligns with Baker Botts’ ongoing investment in the energy and projects sector within the Middle East, complemented by the recent addition of global projects partner Shane Wilson and counsel Chad Passlow to the Dubai office.

Since joining Baker Botts in London in 2016, Jordan has showcased exceptional expertise in both front-end construction work and dispute resolution. His practice focuses on advising developers and contractors across Europe, Middle East, and Asia, with a strong emphasis on energy and infrastructure projects.
