Bale counsels clients on acquisition financing and other event-driven lending transactions. It includes investment-grade, leveraged cash flow, and asset-based syndicated credit facilities, along with loan restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings, and exit financings.
Bale has worked on various significant transactions. He has represented Goldman Sachs in connection with CVS Health Corporation's $78 billion acquisition of Aetna, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse in connection with International Flavors & Fragrances' $45 billion merger with DuPont's Nutrition & Biosciences business and Citi in the Occidental Petroleum Corporation's $55 billion acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum.
