Simmons & Simmons Expands Corporate Practice In Middle East With Noor Al Heialy

Simmons & Simmons has bolstered its corporate transactional practice in the Middle East with the appointment of Noor Al Heialy as a Partner in its Dubai office. Joining from another international law firm, Noor brings extensive experience in advising on domestic and cross-border transactions, joint venture arrangements, and private equity matters.

Her addition to the firm's corporate and commercial practice will enable the team to address the growing demand for transactional work, particularly in the Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) sector. Noor's expertise also extends to the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT), and Health and Life Sciences (HLS) sectors, further enhancing the firm's capabilities.

A fluent Arabic and English speaker, Noor has built strong relationships with key organisations across the region, especially in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Her hire is expected to strengthen Simmons & Simmons' support for clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially with the upcoming opening of the firm’s Riyadh office.

James Coleman, Head of Simmons & Simmons’ Corporate and Commercial Practice in the Middle East, commented on the hire: “Noor is an exceptional corporate transactional lawyer with wide expertise and an ability to forge strong relationships across the region. She is a great fit for our team and as partner, she will allow us to respond to the rising demand for our advice on the most complex transactions in the Gulf – particularly in the AMIF sector.”

Noor Al Heialy expressed her enthusiasm about joining the firm: “I’m excited to be rejoining Simmons & Simmons at a time when the firm is prioritising increased investment in the Middle East. I look forward to supporting the firm as it expands the reach of its transactional work to advise more leading organisations in the UAE, KSA and beyond.”
