HHP Law Firm Expands Real Estate Practice With Addition Of Bima Sarumpaet
HHP Law Firm has welcomed back Bima Sarumpaet as a partner, effective 2 January 2025. With nearly two decades of experience, Bima will play a key role in enhancing the firm’s real estate and M&A/transactional capabilities. He has a strong track record advising both international and domestic clients on high-profile M&A transactions, complex joint ventures, structured foreign direct investments, and real estate deals.
Bima’s expertise spans the full spectrum of industrial, commercial, and residential property sectors, including townships, logistics, data centers, anchor leases, and the hotel industry. He is experienced in supporting businesses through every phase of real estate transactions, from investment structuring and land acquisition to construction, property management, and sale/lease agreements.
Bima originally started his career at HHP Law Firm in 2006, becoming a partner in 2017. After a two-year partnership at MacalloHarlin Mendrofa Advocates (MHMS), he has rejoined HHP to further develop its M&A and real estate service offerings.
Mita Guritno, Managing Partner of HHP Law Firm, said, "We are excited to have Bima rejoin the Firm. His return not only helps us deepen the many institutional relationships we have developed with clients over the years but also bolsters our real estate and transactional capabilities in Indonesia, positioning us well to respond to the growing real estate, infrastructure, and corporate/M&A demand as local and foreign investors explore the tremendous opportunities presented by the Nusantara project."
Daniel Pardede, Head of Transactional - M&A, said, “We are delighted to welcome Bima back to the team. Bima is a highly regarded transactional lawyer. His ability to navigate complex, cross-border transactions will be invaluable as we remain focused on delivering outstanding results for our clients. His return comes at a crucial time as we anticipate increased investment with investors pivoting toward Indonesia for growth opportunities and risk diversification.”
"I am thrilled to be returning to HHP, where I began my career and spent 17 years. It truly feels like coming home. I am excited to further expand my practice and collaborate with my colleagues in Indonesia and abroad to contribute to the continued development of the Firm's thriving M&A practice, particularly in the growth of our real estate service offerings," said Bima.
