Peter & Kim Appoints Deborah Tomkinson As Director Of Corporate Strategy

Peter & Kim has announced the recruitment of Deborah Tomkinson, the former Secretary-General of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA), as its new Director of Corporate Strategy and Counsel.

Deborah’s appointment underscores the firm’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, with Australia playing a pivotal role in this growth. Her role will be based in Australia, reflecting the firm's strategic focus on leveraging the country’s position as a bridge between Europe and Asia.

With 12 years of leadership experience at ACICA, Tomkinson is set to lead the firm’s strategic initiatives and projects. Her extensive background also includes roles as a council member at the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions, senior associate at Ashurst, and senior legal consultant at DLA Piper.
