Melody Chan has been appointed as a partner in Allen & Overy's Hong Kong office, further strengthening the firm's Asia-Pacific Litigation practice. She joins from White & Case, where she served as the head of their Greater China Dispute Resolution practice.
Melody Chan's area of expertise lies in complex, high-value, multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation, debt enforcement, and insolvency work. She also specialises in international arbitration and ancillary matters such as investigations, antitrust, and data privacy. Melody has a wealth of experience advising Chinese financial institutions, as well as clients operating in the energy, construction, and TMT sectors.
Melody has a proven track record of advising clients with business operations both within and outside Greater China on cross-border disputes.
