Hitachi Announces Appointment Of Yuto Matsumura As Chief Legal Officer And General Counsel
He was serving at one of Japan’s largest law firms Mori Hamada & Matsumoto
Hitachi, the Japanese multinational conglomerate, has appointed Yuto Matsumura as the chief legal officer and general counsel. He will also serve as the company’s vice president and executive officer.
The Tokyo-based lawyer began his legal career in 1998 at Mori Sogo Law Offices, which merged with Hamada & Matsumoto in 2002 to form Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, one of Japan’s largest law firms. In 2005, he entered a partnership and in 2015, was promoted to the position of managing partner.
