Leading Indonesian law firm Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung has strengthened its Disputes Practice by hiring Harris Toengkagie as a Disputes Partner. The firm, which has a longstanding association with Herbert Smith Freehills, now boasts a team of more than 80 Partners and Lawyers.

Harris brings nearly two decades of experience representing both national and multinational corporations across a diverse range of legal areas, including Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, Real Estate, Competition, and Corporate Compliance. His expertise will be key in supporting the continued growth of Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung's Indonesia Disputes Team.

In particular, Harris has advised international and Indonesian clients on Commercial Lawsuits, Complex Civil Litigation, State Administrative Disputes, and the Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards in the Indonesian courts. He also has significant experience in Employment and Real Estate matters, including advising on challenging land acquisition issues for major Power Plant and Property Development projects.

Harris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Law from Universitas Trisakti, Indonesia, and a Master's Degree in Law from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. Bilingual in Bahasa Indonesia and English, he is qualified to practice law in Indonesia.
