Baker McKenzie Appoints Three New Members To Global India Practice Group Steering Committee

Baker McKenzie has appointed Ash Tiwari, Naja Hani and Joy K Gallup to its Global India Practice Group's steering committee. The committee comprises partner representatives from across the firm's global network who are actively engaged in India-related initiatives, tasked with developing and executing the strategy for the Global India Practice Group.

Ash Tiwari, a Corporate/M&A Partner in the London office, specialises in domestic and cross-border private M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, reorganisations, listed company advice and corporate governance.

Naja Hani is based in the UAE office and is also a Corporate/M&A Partner focusing primarily on M&A, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and post-acquisition integration, as well as corporate structuring, foreign direct investment and market entry in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the UAE and Qatar.

Joy Gallup, a Corporate & Securities Partner in the New York office, with substantial expertise across a wide spectrum of cross-border corporate finance transactions, focuses on cross-border liability management transactions, distressed and high-yield debt, green bonds, project bond offerings, syndicated loans, and structured debt products.

Other members on the steering committee include Ashok Lalwani (Chair), Aarthi Belani, Ashish Chugh, Adolfo Duranona, Emmanuel Hadjidakis, Samantha Mobley, Philippe Reich, Virusha Subban, Teresa Tovar, Peerapan Tungsuwan, and Mini vandePol.
