An expert in funds and investment management, she worked with Kirkland & Ellis
International law firm Clifford Chance has hired Xing Liyong as a partner in its Hong Kong office, where the firm now has 35 partners.
Xing has experience in advising global and Asian fund sponsors on the structuring, formation, and governance of private investment funds across various strategies. These include venture capital, growth capital, buyout, and real estate.
She has represented several private equity firms in establishing China-focused funds.
On joining Kirkland & Ellis in 2014, Xing was promoted to a partner in 2018. She earlier worked with Shearman & Sterling in New York and Hong Kong.
