Vinod Joseph Joins Economic Laws Practice as Partner

Joseph was earlier working with Argus Partners.

Economic Laws Practice (ELP) has hired Vinod Joseph as Partner.

Having over 23 years of experience, Vinod Joseph has actively worked in Corporate M&A, Banking, Capital Markets, Funds, Asset Management, Employment Law and IT/Outsourcing.

He completed his graduation from National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore in 1998 and earned his LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Laws in 2003 from London School of Economics and Political Science. He is qualified as an Indian advocate as well as an English Solicitor.

Before joining to ELP, Joseph held the position of a Partner at Argus Partners for over 4 years. He has previously worked as in-house counsel with Global Infrastructure Partners India LLP, IDFC Alternatives, Bennett Coleman. He was also a Former Partner at Dua Associates.

At ELP, his role would include structuring and setting up private equity and venture capital funds, preparing fund documents and obtaining requisite regulatory approvals for such funds from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA).
