AP & Partners has appointed Dushyant Kumar as a Partner. He has significant transactional and advisory experience in advising both domestic and international clients in several spheres including corporate, M&A, and PE/VC.

On his joining, Senior Partner Anand Prasad commented, "I am delighted to have Kumar come on board in our partnership. He is a terrific lawyer who I have known for many years and worked with closely. His joining the firm will strengthen our corporate, finance and policy practices.

Dushyant remarked, “I am excited to join the AP&P partnership which comprises friends and colleagues whom I have known for years. They have been able to create a transparent, collegiate, and highly effective platform since their setup in late 2019. I look forward to working with all of them and enhancing the firm’s practice that can bring immense value to the clients.”

A 2009 graduate of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kumar previously worked as legal counsel at International Finance Corporation (part of the World Bank Group). He was involved in various equity and structured equity investments and advisory engagements in India and countries in the South Asia/South-East Asia region.

Prior to that, he was also a part of the M&A and private equity practice group at Trilegal.
