Dipti Hunter quits PwC for Keidan Harrison in a lateral hiring

Dipti, who headed PwC commercial disputes, is the first big lateral hiring for litigation boutique Keidan Harrison to date

London's fledgling boutique litigation firm Keidan Harrison has made a big move in a bid to become the top litigation boutique by hiring Dipti Hunter as a partner.

Dipti was head of commercial dispute at PwC, a Big Four professional services firm. She has become the most senior hire to date for Keidan Harrison, which was launched just about a year ago.

"We are delighted that Dipti has chosen to join us at the very start of our second year. Dipti has a strong profile in the London litigation market and is the firm's most senior and significant hire to date, underlining firmly our ambition to improve the depth and breadth of our disputes offering," Marc Keidan, founding partner of the firm, said.

Dipti Hunter was associated with PwC for approximately half a decade. She worked for PwC's accountancy and consultancy clients across a portfolio of commercial claims slanted towards business contractual, banking and civil fraud matters, as well as investment-related disputes and corporate litigation.

She has a strong London experience, having practised at Pinsent Masons, Memery Crystal and DAC Beachcroft, among others in the past. Her clients include closely held family enterprises, high net worth individuals and corporate clients.

"Her (Dipti's) hire represents an important step towards fulfilling our medium-term ambition to join the leading pack of London disputes boutiques within the next two-three years," Keidan added.

Keidan Harrison has made several associate-level hires since its launch. This includes India, UK and US-qualified lawyer Srishti Jain was also added to the ranks in January this year.
