Linklaters has announced the election of 41 new partners throughout its network, with effect from May 1, 2023.

Dalia Nammari, a seasoned capital market professional with over 11 years of experience in the GCC and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, has been elected as one of the new partners at Linklaters.

Based in Dubai, she advises investment banks, sovereigns, sovereign wealth funds, corporates, and financial institutions on a wide range of conventional and Islamic capital markets products, with a particular focus on complex sukuk structures that are compliant with AAOIFI standards.

In addition to heading the firm's Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) debt capital markets practice, Nammari has also served on secondment at one of the firm's investment bank clients and has been involved in advising on several strategically significant debt and sukuk transactions in the Kingdom.

Starting from May 1, 2023, Linklaters has also revealed the promotion of 53 of its lawyers to counsel, coming from a diverse range of 14 practice areas and situated in 16 offices.

The firm has promoted Peter Cullen, a managing associate based in Dubai, to counsel, exemplifying the firm's dedication to identifying and elevating talented individuals across its global network. Cullen specializes in capital markets and will continue to serve clients with his extensive experience and expertise.

The promotions at Linklaters are spread across different regions, practices, and divisions. The corporate division sees the highest number of promotions, with 20 new partners, followed by finance with 17, and dispute resolution with four.

The promotions also span various practices such as antitrust & foreign investment, banking, capital markets, employment & incentives, investment funds, and tax, among others.

Notably, 41 per cent of the newly elected partners are women, achieving Linklaters' 40 per cent global gender diversity target for female partner promotions, while the remaining 59 per cent are men.

Linklaters has reaffirmed its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and said that it was proud to have achieved its annual target of 15 per cent for underrepresented minority ethnic partners in the UK and US partner elections.
