He served for over a decade at a Magic Circle law firm in Amsterdam

Global law firm Dentons has recruited Ico Jalink as a partner to strengthen its corporate and M&A practice in the Netherlands.

Having over 15 years of experience and expertise, Jalink has built a strong reputation in M&A, joint ventures, and private equity transactions. He has developed a diverse client base and advises corporations, financial institutions, and private equity funds on both sell-side and buy-side processes.

Kuif Klein Wassink, the co-head of the Europe corporate and M&A group, commented, "Jalink is a valuable addition to our team. His extensive M&A experience and knowledge of the TMT, infrastructure, and leisure sector is a perfect fit for our team in Amsterdam. We expect his arrival to be an important link in our ongoing ambitions to optimize the service to both local and international clients."

Marien Glerum, the Benelux managing officer, added, "We are thrilled to welcome Jalink to the Dentons family. His experience and deep understanding of corporate law will be an invaluable asset to our clients, and we are confident he will significantly contribute to our firm's continued success."

Jalink remarked, "It's an honour to join Dentons, as the firm continues to grow its corporate M&A practice. I am looking forward to working together with the talented global team of lawyers at Dentons in supporting clients in executing their M&A strategies."

Jalink previously worked at a Magic Circle firm in Amsterdam and spent over three years at an associate firm in Jakarta. He is particularly known for his extensive cross-border experience and hands-on approach to related matters.

Dentons, which entered the Dutch market five years ago, has more than doubled the size of its Amsterdam office in terms of both revenue and headcount. Currently, its Amsterdam office has 110 lawyers and civil-law notaries, including 20 in the corporate and M&A practice.
