She has been serving at DLA Piper
Hogan Lovells has announced the hiring of finance and fintech expert Bryony Widdup as a partner in the corporate & finance practice group based in London.
An experienced banking and capital markets lawyer, Widdup focuses on finance for funds, a broad range of lending platforms, including blockchain-based offerings, and digital assets, including token structuring and issuance.
James Doyle, the global head of the corporate & finance practice at Hogan Lovells commented, "Widdup is a talented finance lawyer with a great market reputation among the more traditional and evolving financial market players. With over 15 years of experience advising clients in the financial markets sector, she has worked within a major European bank as well as in private practice. She was holding the position of a partner at DLA Piper.
Widdup also serves as a member of the Advisory Council for Global Digital Finance, co-chairing the stablecoin and digital assets ESG working groups. She is also a member of the City UK Board, tackling the pressing issues facing the sector.
