Arvind Gurumurthy Joins White & Brief as Joint Managing Partner

White & Brief has appointed Arvind Gurumurthy as Head of General Corporate, M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital (PE/VC); Joint Managing Partner (South Region). With nearly two decades of experience, Gurumurthy brings a wealth of expertise in areas including Private Equity, Venture Capital, M&A, General Corporate Advisory, Intellectual Property, Labour & Employment, and Real Estate. Gurumurthy has advised on high-value fundraises ranging from USD 2 million to USD 25 million and has played a pivotal role in navigating cross-border transactions and corporat restructuring. His portfolio spans diverse industries such as agri-tech, fintech, health tech, AI/ML, and consumer products, while also mentoring startups and supporting entrepreneurial ecosystems through TiE Bangalore and other pro bono initiatives. During his seven years at Kochhar & Co, Gurumurthy was instrumental in advising startups and multinational corporations on venture capital, private equity, and seed funding transactions.

As Joint Managing Partner (South Region), Gurumurthy will lead White & Brief’s operations in South India, driving the firm’s growth across sectors like technology, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, and startups. His focus on emerging legal areas, including data privacy, ESG compliance, AI regulations, and cross-border investments, positions the firm to meet the region’s evolving legal needs.
