Previously she worked with Linklaters
Law firm DLA Piper has strengthened its finance, projects, and restructuring practice in Hong Kong. It has hired banking and finance lawyer Crystal Chen as a Partner.
Chen earlier worked as a counsel with Linklaters in the energy and infrastructure practice in Hong Kong. In 2019, she was promoted to a partner in the firm.
Qualified in New York, Hong Kong, and the PRC, Chen focuses her practice on China's inbound and outbound transactions. She has served a broad range of clients, including policy and commercial banks, multilateral development agencies, governments, export credit agencies, private equity funds, project sponsors, and other project participants.
Chan is experienced in the development, financing, acquisition, and disposal of projects in the power, petrochemical, and mining sectors. She has extensive experience in a wide range of financing works, including leveraged finance buy-outs, acquisition finance, and structured event-driven financings.
