Trinity Life Sciences has hired technology general counsel Paul Lucchese following its strategic partnership with Bain & Company which saw the latter take a minority stake in Trinity.

Lucchese will be a member of the firm's executive operating committee and will lead the company's legal operations and global compliance activities.

The company is a leading advisor in life sciences commercialization, offering services, including corporate strategy, product planning, market intelligence, and benchmarking to large biopharma and med-tech clients.

Rebecca McNamara, the CFO and head of corporate operations at Trinity commented, "I am pleased to have Lucchese join Trinity's executive team. His broad business knowledge and legal background make him a perfect advisor for our senior team during this high growth phase."

Lucchese's remarked, "I am excited about the ongoing organic and acquisitive growth of Trinity and the opportunity to create additional technology solutions for our clients. The potential to offer additional value to our life sciences clients through technology solutions that will allow them to bring life-changing products to market in a more efficient and effective way is a motivation for me."

Lucchese has joined the Waltham, Massachusetts-based company after seven years as vice president and general counsel at software development company EnterpriseDB. He has over three decades of in-house legal experience at technology companies.

Having previously worked with another software company, Aternity, he spent a number of years as a top lawyer at Candela Corporation and Aspect Software. He also had a stint as president of Outsourced General Counsel, a firm that provided legal services to technology companies.

Founded in 1996, Trinity has a staff strength of over 1,600 people across offices in the US, Canada, Germany, the UK and India. It had earlier formed a partnership with private equity firm Kohlberg & Co and acquired D Cube Analytics adding data science and digital transformation capabilities to its commercialization portfolio.
