IIFL Finance Appoints Rupesh Samani As Head-Legal

IIFL Finance Limited has announced the appointment of Rupesh Samani as Head-Legal, a Senior Management Personnel of the company, effective January 23. The decision was approved by the Board of Directors following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, as stated in the company’s regulatory filing.

Rupesh Samani brings over 26 years of extensive experience in legal, company secretarial, and compliance functions. A qualified law graduate and company secretary from both India and the UK, he joins IIFL Finance from JM Financial Products Ltd., where he served as Director - Legal, Company Secretary, and Compliance Officer for the Products Business.

Throughout his career, Samani has held key legal positions at prominent organizations, including A.K. Capital Finance, Altius Finserv, HSBC Invest Direct Securities, Rabo India, BNP Paribas, and Axis Bank.

With his rich expertise and leadership, Samani is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening IIFL Finance’s legal and compliance framework.
