Hunton Andrews Kurth Strengthens Energy And Infrastructure Practice In Japan With Kristian Bradshaw

Hunton Andrews Kurth has expanded its energy and infrastructure services in Japan with the appointment of Kristian Bradshaw as a Partner. Bradshaw joins from White & Case, where he served as a Local Partner in Tokyo.

A registered foreign lawyer in Japan, Bradshaw is qualified in England and Wales and brings extensive expertise in energy, infrastructure, and energy transition. His specializations include Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), hydrogen, ammonia, and geothermal energy.

Before his tenure at White & Case, where he practiced for two years, Bradshaw served as General Counsel at Inpex Corporation, Japan’s largest energy exploration and production company, from 2018 to 2022.

Bradshaw's notable recent work includes advising EIG-managed LNG company MidOcean Energy on its acquisition of Tokyo Gas’ interests in Australian LNG projects and co-leading a team representing Excelerate Energy in a 20-year LNG sale and purchase agreement with Venture Global LNG.

Bradshaw's arrival at Hunton Andrews Kurth follows the departure of Tokyo partner Sean Conaty, a project finance and M&A lawyer, to Nishimura & Asahi earlier this year.
