Sairah Narmah-Alqasim is Pinsent Masons’ new head of employment

Prior to Pinsent Masons, Narmah-Alqasim spent seven years in Dentons which culminated as head of employment practice for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while taking many other leadership roles.

Sairah Narmah-Alqasim (pictured) has been appointed as head of the employment practice for Pinsent Masons’ newly launched Riyadh office in Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Prior to Pinsent Masons, Narmah-Alqasim spent seven years in Dentons which culminated as head of employment practice for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while taking many other leadership roles. Sairah Narmah-Alqasim was a trainee at Pinsent Masons after which she spent a decade in in-house roles in the UK and KSA and in private practice. She served as both senior in-house counsel and vice dean of the College of Law at the University of Business & Technology and as senior in-house counsel and head of the law department at Dar Al-Hekma University, among the first all-women universities in KSA.

She specialises in corporate structuring, corporate compliance and regulatory matters as well as cross-sector transactions with a focus on education. The wide public between private and listed companies and ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds are advised by her.

Narmah-Alqasim reportedly said, “Employment and HR related advice across the Middle East, particularly KSA, is a fundamental aspect of all corporate activity within the region –– It is an essential aspect of business operations for all corporations which are operating or investing in the Middle East region. The employment landscape is also rapidly shifting as employers respond to global geopolitical forces, the pace of technological change and, the issuance of new laws and regulations on the ground as we move closer to achieving KSA Vision 2030.”
