Immucor, Inc. was sold to Werfen for about $2 billion, with the closing pending typical regulatory approvals, on the advice of Ropes & Gray.

TPG is a leading alternative asset management organization, operating out of 12 locations across 5 continents with a total of $127 billion in assets under management.

Founded in 1982 and located in Norcross, Georgia, Immucor is a world leader in vitro diagnostics for blood transfusions and organ transplants.

Private equity partners Michael Roh and James C. Davis oversaw the Ropes & Gray team, which also comprised private equity partners Scott Rolnik, Adam Greenwood, and Matt Jones, as well as private equity counsel Walton Dumas and private equity associate Rebecca Yang, as well as litigation & enforcement partners Ruchit Patel and Annie Herdman.
