Khaitan & Co has advised Gokaldas Exports Limited in its proposed investment in fabric manufacturer BRFL Textiles Pvt Ltd by subscribing to Optionally Convertible Debentures (OCDs). A possible merger or acquisition will be explored by 30 June 2025.
In its first tranche, Gokaldas Exports will subscribe for Rs.50 crores, with the remaining OCDs worth up to Rs.300 crores, subsequently, in multiple tranches.
