Khaitan & Co
advised Colt Data Centre Services on its joint venture with RMZ to invest USD 1.7 billion in India’s data centre market. Realty firm RMZ, through its RMZ Digital Infrastructure Partners (RDIP), has entered into an equal joint venture with Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS), a leading global hyperscale data centre operator, to develop digital infrastructure in India.

The joint venture aims to create data centres with a combined capacity of approximately 250 MW upon completion of all phases.

The deal team from Khaitan & Co was led by Partners Deepak Jodhani and Abir Sarkar, along with Principal Associate Neekesh Shetty. The team also received assistance from Partner Abhiraj Gandhi (Real Estate) and Partner Vivek Mimani (Funds Formation).
