Khaitan & Co advised Advics Co on its proposed joint venture with Brakes India to establish a new company for developing and manufacturing advanced braking products in India. Advics is a renowned global leader in the supply of advanced, high-quality brake systems and  components.

Brakes India, is a leading supplier of braking systems in the Indian market and a prominent global provider of ferrous castings for passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles, and tractors.

The joint venture aims to produce Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems and other advanced braking products, addressing the needs of local customers. This partnership seeks to leverage the strengths of both companies and contribute to the advancement of the Indian automotive industry, while enhancing the safety and security of customers.
