DMD Advocates Advised Chalasani Hospitals on Sale to Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences

DMD Advocates advised Chalasani Hospitals Private Limited and its shareholders, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Chalasani, Dr. Saileesh Chalasani, Dr. Usha Chalasani, and others, in connection with the sale of 100% of their shares in the company to Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited (KIMS). Chalasani Hospitals Private Limited owns and operates the Queen’s NRI Hospital, a 200-bed multi-specialty hospital in Visakhapatnam.

The acquisition of Queen’s NRI Hospital by KIMS Hospitals represents a strategic move to consolidate and expand their healthcare services in Andhra Pradesh. This acquisition not only increases their capacity but also enhances their ability to serve a larger demographic in a region with growing healthcare demands.

The DMD team was led by Partner Monika Deshmukh and Associate Disha Jain.
