DLA Piper Mexico and DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán has represented Acon-Vitalis Investments on the financing granted by Banco BTG Pactual, Banco de Bogotá S.A., Banco de Occidente S.A. and Banco Santander de Negocios Colombia S.A. to several Vitalis companies for their working capital needs.

Acon-Vitalis is a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of generic injectable pharmaceuticals with production facilities in Colombia and Mexico. With a presence in over 20 countries, Acon-Vitalis intends to use the funds to expand its operations across the Latin American region.

The DLA Piper team was led by partners Sebastián Lora, Andrés González (Colombia), and partner Guillermo Aguayo and associate Federico Álvarez (Mexico). It included associates Carlos Guzmán, María Alejandra Bonilla, Isabela Ramírez, and Felipe Buitrago (Colombia), and Ricardo Mendoza (Mexico).
