S&R Associates represented IRB Infrastructure Trust, an infrastructure investment trust which owns and operates road assets, and IRB Infrastructure Developers, the sponsor of the InvIT, in an INR 17.15 billion acquisition of 80.40% of the equity shares and 80.40% of the non-convertible debentures of Meerut Budaun Expressway Limited, which is the concessionaire for a portion of the six-lane Ganga Expressway toll-road project in the state of Uttar Pradesh, from the sponsor and an affiliate of GIC.
