S&R Associates represented IRB Infrastructure Trust, an infrastructure investment trust owning and operating road assets, in its INR 17.15 billion fast-track rights issue of 58.4 million units.
The Investment Manager, acting on behalf of IRB Infrastructure Trust, issued and allotted 58,400,000 units to eligible unitholders at an issue price of INR 293.6511986 per unit, aggregating to INR 17,149.23 million. Of these, the Sponsor of the Trust was allotted 29,800,000 units, while GIC Affiliates received 28,600,000 units.
The S&R Associates team advising on the transaction was led by Partner Pratichi Mishra and included Associates Shiv Kumar Sharma, Samyak Jain, Oshika Nayak, Advaita Kapoor, and Shambhavi Shani.
