Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised BofA Securities India Limited, which acted as the broker for the sale by TPG Rise Climate SF Pte. Ltd. (the Seller) of equity shares in Tata Technologies (the Company).
The Seller divested 12,130,000 equity shares of the Company on August 27, 2024, for an aggregate consideration of INR 12,307.10 million (approximately).
TPG divested 3% stake worth INR 1,230 crores in Tata Technologies through its investment arm, Rise Climate SF Pte. Ltd., via a block deal. The US-based private equity firm previously held a 9% stake in the company.
The transaction was led by Partner Aashima Johur, with support from Principal Associate Nayan Jain.
