Legal Era Partner Event - CIArb-YMG India Conference 2022 on Changing Landscapes and Navigating New Contours in Arbitration

"The Young Members Group of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators- India organized and out together the 1st CIArb-YMG India Conference 2022.

The event was held at The Lalit Hotel, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi on November 25, 2022. The theme of the conference was "Changing Landscapes and Navigating New Contours in Arbitration" and the event was graced by several eminent luminaries in the field of arbitration from across the world. Dr. Lalit Bhasin, Chairman CIArb-India delivered the Chairperson's Address to inaugurate the conference which was then followed by a Key Note Address delivered by Mr. Jonathan Wood, the President-Designate of the CIArb.

Justice Dipak Misra, the former Chief Justice of India was the 'Chief Guest' whereas Ms. Catherine Dixon, Director-General, CIArb was the 'Guest of Honour', both of whom delivered their address at the Valedictory Session.

Other eminent speakers at the event included Mr Tejas Karia, Mr Ritin Rai, Ms. Samantha Rowe, Ms. Kate Apostolova, Mr. Sameer Shah, Ms. Suchitra Kanuparthi, Mr. Nusrat Hassan and Mr. Gaurav Dudeja.

The event was organized by the Core-Committee of the YMG, which included Dr. Shashwat Bajpai, Mr. Deepak Narayanan, Mr. Arush Khanna, Ms. Kshama Loya, Mr. Hussain Somji and Ms. Chinmayee Pendse.

It was supported by several law firms, senior advocates and organisations including the Society of Indian Law Firms, Link Legal, SNG Partners, Phoenix Legal, Karanjawala &Co, JustLaw, P&A Law Offices, Indian Dispute Resolution Centre, Mr. Amarjit Singh Chandhiok, Mr. S.S Naganand and Mr. Shyam Divan.
