Kochhar & Co has represented and advised Power Finance Corporation Limited on financial assistance to one of its entities promoted by the Vibrant Energy Holdings Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group.
The transaction was for its Karnataka-based wind-solar hybrid project with an aggregate capacity of 209.4 MW/259.8 MWp. It comprises a wind power project having a 104.4 MW capacity and a solar project with a 105 MW/155.4 MWp capacity.
Considered one of the largest wind-solar hybrid corporate power purchase agreements by a technology company in India, the deal is this year’s one of the largest financings in the renewables sector.
