Justice AP Sahi appointed as the Chairperson of NCDRC
Justice AP Sahi, the former Chief Justice of the Madras and Patna High Courts has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC).
Justice Sahi will be serving a four-year term as the Chief of the NCDRC.
Justice Sahi became an additional judge of the Allahabad High Court on September 24, 2004 and was confirmed as permanent judge on August 18, 2005.
On 17 November 2018, he was sworn in as Chief Justice of Patna High Court.
On 11 November 2019, he took oath as Chief Justice of Madras High Court. He retired on 31 December 2020.
Earlier, he has also served as the Director of National Judicial Academy, Bhopal.
