Individually, they possess over 20 years of experience in dispute resolution

Ashish Prasad and Mukta Dutta, Partners in the Dispute Resolution Practice at the Delhi office of Economic Laws Practice have quit the firm. They have set up their own boutique law firm Acara Law LLP.

The other four team members from ELP who have joined them at Acara are Abhishek Shivpuri (Associate Partner), Kaustubh Mishra (Principal Associate), Pruthvi Dhinoja (Senior Associate), and Rahul Tyagi (Senior Associate).

The team is experienced in representing and advising clients in international and domestic arbitration in disputes arising out of construction contracts, joint ventures, and shareholders' disputes.

The firm will specialize in the areas of commercial litigation, dispute resolution, arbitration, advisory and regulatory matters.

In the past, the team has worked on matters related to infrastructure and energy laws, particularly relating to mining and environment, writ proceedings challenging arbitrary state action, insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, white-collar crimes, electricity laws, and securities laws.

Ashish Prasad, the Founding Partner at Acara Law, said, "Acara does not believe in restricting practice areas of its team and wherever required, our team will work through strategic collaborations with experienced professionals across specializations (disputes, arbitration, corporate, trade or tax) to bring the best solution to its clients."
