She was running an independent practice at Lexic
Sandhya Surendran has joined BTG Legal as a Partner and will lead the firm's intellectual property practice.
She specializes in intellectual property rights, especially in relation to content. She has represented clients on both sides of talent and production. Her clients include entities operating in artificial intelligence and blockchain, media production, music distribution, independent record labels, advertising tech, health tech, IT/ITES, e-commerce, and telecom services.
A 2007 graduate of the NALSAR, Hyderabad, Sandhya has served in several in-house roles including as the senior legal counsel of Vice Media, InMobi, and Infosys. Earlier, she was running her independent practice at Lexic for over seven years.
