U.S. law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom has appointed Friven Yeoh from Sidley Austin to lead its international litigation and arbitration group in Asia. Yeoh is a highly experienced commercial arbitration practitioner who previously co-led Sidley's global arbitration, trade, and advocacy group. In his new role at Skadden, Yeoh will divide his time between the firm’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices, leveraging his extensive background in resolving complex, high-stakes business disputes across various industries. His practice focuses on international arbitrations governed by numerous institutional and ad hoc rules, including ICC, HKIAC, CIETAC, SIAC, and UNCITRAL. With Yeoh’s addition, Skadden now boasts 10 partners in its Hong Kong office.
