Thomas Snider has been named Partner and Head of the International Arbitration practice at Charles Russell Speechlys. Formerly with Al Tamimi & Co, Snider will operate from the firm’s Dubai office. This decision aligns with Charles Russell Speechlys' expansion into Singapore, underscoring the firm's dedication to bolstering its international arbitration expertise in light of the escalating global interconnectedness.

Boasting a distinguished professional journey of more than 20 years, Thomas Snider is a renowned figure in the realm of international arbitration practice. His notable achievements encompass a history of skilfully navigating intricate and extensive conflicts spanning the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Snider's proficiency encompasses diverse facets, including commercial arbitration, investment disputes, state-to-state arbitration, and the intricate domain of foreign sovereign immunity.

Snider's clientele is characterised by its diversity, reflecting his adeptness in addressing a multitude of industries, sectors, and categories of disputes. His scope of work extends seamlessly across domains as varied as construction and infrastructure, energy and natural resources, and the realms of retail, consumer affairs, and leisure.
