He succeeds Andrew Johnston who was elected the Managing Partner for four years

Global law firm Addleshaw Goddard has announced the appointment of Robin Hickman to lead the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He has worked on the region’s largest and most complex financings and high-profile debt restructurings.

Having built a strong debt restructuring practice in the Middle East for over 16 years, Hickman will combine the additional leadership responsibilities with his advisory role as a Finance Partner, Specializing in complex debt restructuring mandates.

While maintaining the firm’s upward trajectory in the region, he will lead the firm’s revenue growth target of 60 percent over the next five years.

He joined the firm’s partnership in 2017 and has headed the Middle East Finance Practice since 2022.

Commenting on the Appointment, Andrew Johnston, the Managing Partner at Addleshaw Goddard stated, “The firm’s next phase of growth in the Middle East will be exciting. The Middle East was Addleshaw Goddard’s fastest-growing region in this financial year delivering 43 percent income growth. Since 2019, the growth in the Middle East has also doubled. Early this year, the firm was granted a Foreign Law Firm Licence by the Saudi Ministry of Justice after it announced the intention to launch an office in Riyadh, its fourth in the Middle East alongside Dubai, Qatar and Oman.
