DIAC And Opus 2 Forge Strategic Partnership To Revolutionize Arbitration Process
Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), a leading arbitration institution in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region, has entered into a strategic technology partnership with Opus 2, a UK-based legal tech firm specializing in cloud-based solutions for the legal and dispute resolution sectors.
The collaboration centers around the development of a digital arbitration platform designed to streamline DIAC’s internal systems and processes. The new platform will enhance connectivity and cybersecurity for all stakeholders involved in the arbitration process, including parties, legal practitioners, neutrals, and the Secretariat.
Key features of the platform include an e-filing application for documents, forms, and payments, a case registration system for efficient data capture and review, and a secure portal for submitting and accessing case documents. This digital infrastructure will simplify and improve the efficiency of DIAC’s legal proceedings.
In addition to the arbitration platform, DIAC users will gain access to Opus 2’s integrated hearing technologies and services. This includes a dynamic services request portal that allows parties and legal practitioners to book a variety of documentation and services, all designed to comply with the Centre’s regulatory standards.
Both Oliver McClintock, Chief Commercial Officer at Opus 2, and Jehad Kazim, Executive Director of DIAC, expressed their satisfaction with the partnership, emphasizing their shared goal of transforming the dispute resolution landscape.
