Saraf and Partners Advised AMPIN Energy on $50 Million Investment by Siemens
Saraf and Partners advised AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited on a $50 million investment by Siemens Financial Services, the financing arm of Siemens AG. The investment includes a mix of equity shares and preference shares, supporting AMPIN’s expansion in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and utility-scale renewable energy projects while enhancing its energy transition value chain business.
This marks AMPIN’s third major investment transaction this financial year, bringing its total equity capital raised to $270 million and cumulative equity capital to nearly $700 million, enabling a capital deployment exceeding $4 billion.
Headquartered in New Delhi, AMPIN Energy Transition has a 5 GWp renewable energy portfolio across 22 states in India, using a diverse mix of solar, wind, and storage solutions to provide green power to utility and C&I customers.
The transaction was led by Avirup Nag (Partner).
