Sidley represented Jeff Skoll in connection with his minority investment in Monumental Sports & Entertainment that owns and/or operates multiple professional sports teams, venues and media enterprises. It includes the NBA's Washington Wizards, NHL's Washington Capitals, and the WNBA's Washington Mystics.
Developing eBay's inaugural business plan, Jeff Skoll was the first permanent employee and first President of eBay, heading its effective original public contribution. Jeff, a patron and social capitalist, is the founder of the Jeff Skoll Group. He has formed an innovative portfolio of philanthropic and commercial initiatives including the Skoll Foundation, Capricorn Investment Group and Participant.
