Sumit Thakur Joins Hindustan Zinc As General Counsel

Sumit Thakur a Veteran In-House Counsel with 19 years of experience has joined Hindustan Zinc Limited as a General Counsel.

Thakur graduated from Campus Law Centre, Law Faculty, Delhi University in 2005. He later obtained his LLM from Kurukshetra University in 2011.

Thakur is a seasoned in-house counsel with 19 years of extensive experience overseeing various legal and compliance activities. His expertise includes managing litigation, arbitration, contract drafting and review, property matters, providing business advisory services, handling corporate restructuring, and overseeing the registration and enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights for large listed organizations.

Before joining Hindustan Zinc, Thakur served as the Vice President & Head Legal at Allcargo Logistics for a period exceeding one year.
