Ben Higson joins the firm' London office as a corporate partner and new head of the Corporate practice
Ben Higson has been welcomed as a partner at Vinson & Elkins' London office, where he will provide strategic direction and competence to the firm's corporate practice.
As part of his new position, Higson will also lead the London office's corporate practice. He has joined the firm from Hogan Lovells.
In the field of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Ben is considered to be among London's best lawyers. We believe his background in recruiting and team development will position Vinson & Elkins for expansion and sustained success. His customer base spans a wide variety of industries, as stated by the Chair of the firm, Keith Fullenweider.
Joint ventures M&A, and other business transactions are all part of Higson's transactional experience. His business practice has spanned a wide range of industries, but he has particular expertise in the infrastructure, energy, and industrial sectors. He also regularly advises clients on cross-border issues involving Europe and Japan.

Higson earned a Bachelor of Laws from Bristol University and then Legal Practice Certificate from Oxford University.
