JCSS Law has announced the hiring of seasoned lawyer Jacqueline Aikin as a partner in its corporate and commercial practice in Pune.

Aikin recognises Pune’s growing significance as a city attracting both domestic and foreign business interests. Given JCSS Law’s focus on transactions and general corporate practice, joining them felt like a natural progression for her, enhancing her visibility and impact.

Backed by JCSS Consulting, Aikin aims to be a reliable legal partner for Pune’s business community. Her commitment extends to the renewable and automotive sectors within JCSS Law

With over 16 years of corporate law experience, Aikin previously served as in-house counsel at Suzlon Energy for nearly a decade. Before that, she led Solomon & Co’s Pune practice for six years.

Her expertise spans cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, joint ventures, and various corporate affairs. Aikin’s client base includes diverse entities in India’s legal landscape, particularly within the renewable energy and automotive sectors.

According to Radhika Subhash, managing partner of JCSS Law, Aikin’s contribution will strengthen their renewable energy and automotive practice. Additionally, her proficiency in cross-border transactions aligns with the firm’s growing international collaborations, involving countries like Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, and the US.
